Ok, hands up – who doesn't treat themselves to some shopping when they feel miserable? I know I do and I know it's not a very constructive way of dealing with pain or sadness. But sometimes you just don't care, I know it sounds harsh but it's the truth. Sometimes you don't care about being poor for the rest of the month, for the fact that you already have everything you need or for the fact that the shit you're buying probably is produced under the worst conditions and maintains our capitalistic society. Or you do care, but you do it anyway. Does that make us bad people? All those questions you ask yourself on a Tuesday night.
